| 1.) Pick a windup that is long (Sittch, Brad Lidge, ect.) This allows you to have more time to tap A when throwing a fastball so it is faster. 2.) S/L for good starting. Right Handed-82mph, E Stamina, F control Left Handed-78mph, E Stamina, F control 3.) You want to practice Accuracy first to get your control up to about a C 4.) You have to get Jaw as soon as you can. S/L for finding dog S/L for Gambler's Ring 5.) ASAP you want to get your Sittch training done. Here's what I recomended you get for each one. -1. +48 technique +29 mentality Gd Pick off recomended. -2. Cure Pr Sense or Gd Sense -3. Whatever glove you think you need most -4. Just get it done -5. Just get it done -6. Just get it done -7. Get ORIG -Slow fork -Changing CB -Changing SIFB -Changing SNK -Breaking SLD 6.) The Breaking ball that you need maxed out at the end is either your KN or V-SLD. You also want a maxed out 2SFB. Of course you want the ORIG but it doesn't have to be maxed out. The last breaking ball you want is a "slop" pitch. The slop pitch I recomend is either a SC or SLD it only needs to be level 2. 7.) When eating you want to have either a Spicy Dog Special (+50 vitality -15$) or Chinese Combo (+75 vitality -50$) 8.) You want to do a lot of working for Jaw to get money and more suprise bags so you can get Secrets of Pitching 9.) By the end of Year 1 you should look something like this Top Speed-86 Control C Stamina E-D Pitches KN/V-SLD(5), 2SFB(3), ORIG(3), SLD/SC(2) 10.) Right after you move up to AAA save then go to Bison's Shop and use your discount coupon and buy as many Glove Waxes as you can then use them to boost your Top Speed. 11.) You want to the same thing at the end of the game. 12.) Recomended abilities are: Dr. K, Ground ball pitcher. 13.) You can get Gyroball or Intimidator if you want. Final Stats Top Speed 99-105 Control C-A Stamina E-D Pitches: 4SFB, 2SFB(3), SLD/SC(2), ORIG(3-7), KN/V-SLD(7)
What do you guys think I'll take any suggestions

i only go to bison's shop twice: first time, i sell rookie's charm, anything else I don't like, and buy psychic goggles and a prince's necklace, and maybe a powerin special (those things are waaaaaaaaay better and better value than powerin dx). second time is on final screen, and after i gamble for all the abilities I want (you should get some quickness points and save them, so the last thing left you can gamble for is aggressive run) and then sell gambler's ring, buy more stuff (it sells for $750!)

| I usually keep my Rookie's charm until the end, then I sell off everything except equipment. I usually go to Bison to pick up Shiny Fragrance, Psychic goggles and at least a gambler's ticket. | |

| oh, and in case you don't know, don't sell your equipment unless you absolutely have to. i learned that the hard way in '07, my guy had A CON, A RUN SPD, then I sold his bat and glove and they both went to B's... | |

3-quarters 37 is good, and long.

| I hate long windups with a passion. I think tapping A a lot uses up more stamina too, I can usually come withing 1 or 2 mph from top speed with a short windup anyway. I usually only do that in important situations, or to get a strikeout. | |

| Stamina isn't that big of an issue when it comes to closers. But a good windup is Barry Zito's. It gives you enough time to press A, and has a very good pace. | |

| I used Brad Lidge for my version of STEPHEN Strasburg (hes not very good..) and kept my fastball around 90 every time | |

| Sorry for Double post, but Brad Penny has a nice long windup, too. I'll try his when I make my closer | |

| I have about 15 pitching motions from 3-Quarters. One of my preferred windups is El Duque's (Orlando Hernandez), in Dual Style. Gotta love that kick. | |
